Interim ACTRIS Council

The Interim ACTRIS Council (IAC) is the superior decision-making body for ACTRIS as a research infrastructure prior to ERIC has been established.

The IAC consists of ACTRIS members, country representatives nominated by the ministries or organisation mandated to act on the behalf of the country.

The IAC is responsible for negotiating and approving the legal model, governance structure, statutes and all other necessary constitutional documents, Financial Plan and financial internal rules, policy documents such as data policy, access policy, and staff policy for ACTRIS.

IAC Meetings

The next Interim ACTRIS Council meeting, 15th IAC meeting, shall be held virtually on 1-2 March 2021.

The 15th Interim ACTRIS Council meeting (IAC15) will be held virtually on 1-2.3.2021. 

Detailed time schedule and agenda will be provided later, but in the meanwhile, please, reserve two full days (9-17 CET) for the virtual IAC15 meeting.

IAC15 meeting will contain several sessions similarly to the other IAC meetings held remotely. 

Meeting material will be distributed to IAC delegates via email 3 weeks in advance on Monday 8 Feb 2021.

The 14th Interim ACTRIS Council meeting (IAC14) will be held virtually on 16-17.12.2020.

 

IAC14 is a full two-day meeting with six 1.5-2 h sessions. Sessions on Wednesday between 9.30 to 17.00 and on Thursday between 9.30 to 16.30. Remember to reserve time for joining the meeting and testing audio/video connections.

The 13th Interim ACTRIS Council meeting (IAC13) will be held virtually on 9-11.11.2020.

The three day virtual IAC13 meeting consist of seven sessions (1.5-2 h):

The IAC is open for new members and observers during its entire lifetime. Countries may join as members of the IAC by signing a Letter of Intent. Countries may also participate in the IAC as observers by sending a request to the Chairperson of the IAC. Observers have the right to attend IAC meetings without a voting right. The IAC approves new members and observers in its meeting.
